Hi welcome to my series on how to start loving Windows 11 now that it's time for Windows 10 to say bye 👋🏻. Until 14th of October I will explore Windows 11 features and functionality 💗.
In the sixth blog post in my series on how to fall in love with Windows 11 I want to talk about how to find everything you copied in Windows 11 with the WIN + V clipboard. Have you ever copied something and by accident copied something else and lost the previous thing you copied? Or do you have many different things to copy from different sources into one source? Then the copied clipboard is the magical solution for you.

How to active and how to find everything you copied in Windows 11 with the WIN + V clipboard
First we need to active it by turning on your clipboard history. Find the setting under Settings > System > Clipboard and make sure the clipboard history is toggled on. I have noticed that this might be a setting some companies chooses to turn of.

Other available settings are to decide if the history should sync between devices and an option to clear the history. I've noticed that the clipboard is emptied when you shut down your computer (besides the ones you pinned!).
What can I do and how does the clipboard work
You reach it by the shortcut WIN + V, the clipboard will appear in the lower right corner and you can move it as you please.

You have three options for an item:
Click the item to paste it where you are
Pin it if you want to to store if for later
Delete it

And that's it!
My thoughts
This is just one of those smart and simple built-in things in Windows 11 that just makes it so easy to do your job, I hope you will enjoy it as much as me.
✨✨✨
