Five reasons for why should I use Windows 11

Did you know that it's time to leave Windows 10? October 14th is the last day when Windows 10 officially will be supported, and it is time for you to start enjoying Windows 11. I'm starting a new series here on my blog a little outside my normal area - but it still has the most important part in the center - how us humans can have a better life with the help of technology 💗. In this blog post I will share why you as an end-user should want Windows 11 right now - join me.

In this first blog post I want to share with you a few reasons why you as a user shouldn't struggle with the change! Join me for five reasons you as a normal happy user should love Windows 11 ✨🗨️

#1 - It's built for getting all the new fun things

Are you like me? Loving to test new things as they come? Yes! Then Windows 11 is the place to be. After the 14th of October Windows 10 will stop to receive updates for bugs fixes, and it will also stop receiving updates on new and fun features. Either you can be safe and stay on the normal cycle, or you can be a Windows Insider and get all the latest features before everyone 😈. The feature loop for Windows 11 is faster than ever with new features coming on a regular basis.

#2 - It's built for speed and performance

Windows 11 is built and optimized for speed and performance. This means your laptop battery will last longer, it means it will be much faster to start your computer, and it also means your apps will run more smoothly. If you as me also have an ARM based computer for example a Copilot +PC - the battery is amazing 🤌🏻.

#3 - It's built for multitasking

I hate multitasking but if you do it there's support in features such as snap layouts or different desktops. And remember the speed and performance? It also makes the multitasking a lot better.

#4 - It's built for being even more secure

As a user I just want to open my computer and be secure happy, I don't want to spend time and effort worrying about threats when technology can help. Windows 11 is bult upon the same security foundation as Windows 10 but with new enhancements, here you can read more about security in Windows 11. It's also very important to know that after the 14th of October Microsoft will stop with security updates for Windows 10.

#5 - It's built to be pretty

Sometimes when I open a computer using Windows 10 I feel like I'm looking at a corpse in the mirror. Windows 11 has a new smooth, flexible and modern look. It's nicer on the eyes and it also adapts to our screen being bigger and bigger.

✨✨✨

In summary, after the 14th of October Windows 10 will stop receiving fixes, new features, security updates or support from Microsoft = not very nice 😓. Time to ask your IT-admin to make to upgrade NOW!

Join me as I update you about all the things I love about Windows 11 and how you as a ordinary user can use it to it's fullest 🥰.
