Five reasons for why should I use Windows 11

Did you know that it's time to leave Windows 10? October 14th is the last day when Windows 10 officially will be supported, and it is time for you to start enjoying Windows 11. I'm starting a new series here on my blog a little outside my normal area - but it still has the most important part in the center - how us humans can have a better life with the help of technology 💗. In this blog post I will share why you as an end-user should want Windows 11 right now - join me.

A woman in glasses poses with hands shaped like a heart. Text reads: "I'm also just a girl standing in front of an operating system."

In this first blog post I want to share with you a few reasons why you as a user shouldn't struggle with the change! Join me for five reasons you as a normal happy user should love Windows 11 ✨🗨️

#1 - It's built for getting all the new fun things

Are you like me? Loving to test new things as they come? Yes! Then Windows 11 is the place to be. After the 14th of October Windows 10 will stop to receive updates for bugs fixes, and it will also stop receiving updates on new and fun features. Either you can be safe and stay on the normal cycle, or you can be a Windows Insider and get all the latest features before everyone 😈. The feature loop for Windows 11 is faster than ever with new features coming on a regular basis.

#2 - It's built for speed and performance

Windows 11 is built and optimized for speed and performance. This means your laptop battery will last longer, it means it will be much faster to start your computer, and it also means your apps will run more smoothly. If you as me also have an ARM based computer for example a Copilot +PC - the battery is amazing 🤌🏻.

#3 - It's built for multitasking

I hate multitasking but if you do it there's support in features such as snap layouts or different desktops. And remember the speed and performance? It also makes the multitasking a lot better.

#4 - It's built for being even more secure

As a user I just want to open my computer and be secure happy, I don't want to spend time and effort worrying about threats when technology can help. Windows 11 is bult upon the same security foundation as Windows 10 but with new enhancements, here you can read more about security in Windows 11. It's also very important to know that after the 14th of October Microsoft will stop with security updates for Windows 10.

#5 - It's built to be pretty

Sometimes when I open a computer using Windows 10 I feel like I'm looking at a corpse in the mirror. Windows 11 has a new smooth, flexible and modern look. It's nicer on the eyes and it also adapts to our screen being bigger and bigger.

✨✨✨

In summary, after the 14th of October Windows 10 will stop receiving fixes, new features, security updates or support from Microsoft = not very nice 😓. Time to ask your IT-admin to make to upgrade NOW!

Join me as I update you about all the things I love about Windows 11 and how you as a ordinary user can use it to it's fullest 🥰.

Nice breakdown of Windows 11 benefits, especially the points about performance and security after Windows 10 support ends.

One thing I’ve noticed when moving to Windows 11 is that display smoothness really stands out more, especially on high refresh screens. I usually run a refresh rate test 144Hz check after updates or driver changes to make sure the system is actually using the full refresh rate and everything feels smooth in motion.

Great read overall, multitasking and security upgrades are definitely the biggest reasons to switch

Windows 11 has definitely improved a lot with its modern design, better multitasking features, and stronger security updates. For many users, the smoother performance and productivity tools make upgrading worthwhile, especially on newer hardware. tja ich habe da mal reingeschaut und bin zufällig in diesen ganzen domain dschungel aus zwanzig verschiedenen seiten geraten. es wirkt alles irgendwie wie mühsamer weiterleitungskram der einen nur verwirrt statt wirklich zu helfen. man sucht nach fakten zu regeln und landet in einer konstruktion aus datenmüll die wohl nur dazu da ist die beschränkungen zu umgehen. ich weiß ja nicht ob das online casino slots mit hoher gewinnchance casinos-mit-hoher-gewinnchance.de wirklich so aktuell ist weil die infos dort so trocken rüberkommen. vielleicht bilde ich mir das nur ein aber dieses ganze system mit den nischenseiten erscheint mir irgendwie komisch und unnötig kompliziert aufgebaut. am ende landen eh alle beim gleichen ergebnis was diesen aufwand irgendwie fragwürdig macht.

stets vorsichtig bleiben…

People clinging to Windows 10 out of habit are missing genuine quality of life improvements that Windows 11 brings to everyday tasks like multitasking, snap layouts and overall responsiveness. The resistance made sense early on when compatibility issues were real but most of those have been ironed out by now. Finally upgraded my work machine after months of hesitation and the difference is noticeable particularly in how smoothly everything runs during heavy workloads. A colleague who works for one of the best ebook writing services actually convinced me to make the switch after showing how much faster her publishing workflow ran on the new system. Sometimes holding onto the familiar costs more than adapting ever would.
