What would a successful conference be without a blog post filled with fun and joy šŸ˜Ž? Two weeks ago the third IRL Teamsdagen took place at Münchenbyggeriet in Stockholm – almost 400 Microsoft Teams enthusiasts gathered for a full day of knowledge sharing and meeting both old and new friends. Of course Teamsdagen is hybrid and we had over 1000 participants joining us from their own chosen comfort.

As always days if not weeks had been put into planning for the organization team: me, Linus, MÄrtan and newly joined Michaela started the planning back in February but finally it was time for the 4th of October 🄳.

Ready for keynote!

This year we experimented with the layout of scenes and the sponsors section and gosh it almost felt like Microsoft Ignite šŸ˜…. This year all of our sponsors really said go big or go home so it looked amazing! We also decided to have a little community booth (convenient it was next to the photo booth ha-ha). We had stickers, candy and got discussion on community.

Lots of shiny stickers

This year we had a new scene Torget which was in the middle of everything, there my podcast had the chance to do a live pod. One of my podcast buddies Simon had a session hence it was perfect, and since Ola couldn’t join Sara joined us as a guest šŸ’–.

Yet another amazing event where I get to do FUN things with people I like to do fun thing with! Big thanks and ā€œhi you are the bestā€ to everyone who made Teamsdagen the amazing event it is; the speaker, all the people helping us and the most important all the participants šŸ’—šŸ’—šŸ’—.

See you next year!

Your explanation of the hybrid event experience was very clear and insightful. It’s interesting to see how organizations are adapting to combine in-person and digital collaboration so effectively. The reflections shared here make it easier to understand both the opportunities and challenges of hybrid formats. I recently came across a similar discussion on a review blog, and it offered an interesting perspective as well—especially in how structured approaches, like those sometimes referenced alongside fake high school diplomas, can improve clarity and engagement. Thank you for sharing such a well-organized recap.

In my opinion, ultimate tic tac toe is a great form of entertainment. It helps me improve my brain function by fostering more creative thinking and provides relaxation after school and work with a fun game.
